Most WordPress problems we see are preventable with a few habits. None of them takes more than a few minutes a month.
Secure
- Update WordPress, themes and plugins as they're released. Turn on auto-updates for plugins you trust.
- Delete plugins and themes you're not using — inactive ones still get exploited.
- Long, unique passwords for every user, stored in a password manager; no user called "admin".
- Add a two-factor or limit-login-attempts plugin. It also stops the server firewall blocking your own office after a few typos.

Fast
- Install LiteSpeed Cache — our servers are LiteSpeed, so it's the plugin built for them. The defaults are sensible; enable page caching and image optimisation.
- Resize images before uploading. A 6 MB photo straight from a phone is the single most common reason a page is slow.
- Fewer plugins. Each one adds code to every page load.
Recoverable
We back your account up daily off-site. Before a big change, take your own snapshot too (cPanel → Backup Wizard) so you can undo it yourself. If something goes wrong anyway, open a ticket — restoring is routine for us.
