Renewals. Domains renew for a year at a time. We remind you 30 days and 7 days before expiry, and if a card is saved the renewal invoice collects automatically on the due date. To renew early or check a date, go to Domains → My Domains in your client area. Our prices: .co.uk and .uk £8.95 a year, .com £12.95, both +VAT.
If a domain expires. Your website and email stop working, and after a short grace period the domain is deleted and becomes available to anyone. Renew from the client area as soon as you can; if the status looks wrong or you can't renew, open a ticket and we'll sort it directly with the registry.
Emails from Nominet. Nominet is the registry that runs every .uk domain, and it emails domain holders directly about two things: verifying your contact details (you must click the link, or the domain is suspended) and expiry warnings. These emails are genuine. If you're unsure whether one is real, forward it to us on a ticket and we'll confirm before you click anything.
Dates look wrong? Occasionally the expiry date shown in your client area drifts from the registry's. Tell us and we'll resync it — it doesn't affect the domain itself.
